Unfiltered Story #135078

(A while back I was working as a teller and was visibly pregnant. I was waiting on a customer I had never seen before when this conversation took place.)

Customer: Oh! You’re going to have a baby?

Me: Yes, I am.

Customer: And you’re due in November?

Me:…Nope, August.

Customer: Oh, and it’s a girl?

Me:….I don’t know what it’s going to be.

Customer: Oh, a surprise, that’s nice. But then you don’t know what to buy.

Me: I’m pretty sure you can buy the same things regardless.

(She got 2 out of 3. I had a baby and it was a girl, but thankfully in August and not November!)
