(My manager gets a call from an angry customer wanting his no show fee waived. The caller is shouting so loudly that I can hear every word.)
Manager: “Sir, there’s a no show fee for a reason. You didn’t show up so we charged you.”
Caller: “THIS IS BS WHERE IS THIS RULE?! I WAS NEVER TOLD THAT I WOULD GET CHARGED!”
Manager: “It’s in those terms of condition that comes with your reserv—”
Caller: “BS! WHO READS THOSE ANYWAY?! YOU’RE JUST TRYING TO CHEAT ME OF MY HARD EARNED MONEY AND I WILL GO TO MY BANK AND SAY THAT I DIDN’T AUTHORIZE THESE CHARGES!”
Manager: “Fine with me sir.” *hangs up* “[My Name], if he calls again just hang up. No need to be nice to non customers.”
Me: “Yessir.”
(The caller didn’t call again but wrote an angry letter to corporate and got his fee waived after harassing them for hours. Shame.)
