(It’s Christmas, and we are exchanging cards.)

Partner: “Dad, I saw this card and immediately thought of you.”

(The card has a father wondering if he got the right kids from the daycare.)

Father-In-Law: *laughs* “I like it.”

Mother-In-Law: “Let me see… dear, isn’t there something familiar about it?”

(She shows us an identical card from last year.)

Partner: *blushes* “At least you know for sure I’m your kid!”

(We’re thinking of making it a tradition!)
