13 Spacey Stories About Aliens And Those Who Believe…
On May 25, 1979, the world discovered that in space… no one can hear you scream. Yes, the film Alien was released to an unsuspecting audience (unsuspecting of that dinner scene at least) and now xenomorphs, facehuggers, and Ellen Ripley are part of the cultural consciousness. Another interesting aspect of the original movie that has stayed with us is the name of the planet in which the (mostly) doomed characters first pick up their leggy stowaway: LV-426. As a result, 4/26 has commonly become an Alien day among the film’s fans, just like May 4th is to Star Wars fans and 17/01 is to Star Trek fans.
