(I work at a popular ice cream franchise that specializes in small balls of ice cream frozen with liquid nitrogen. It’s a relatively simple process to make the ice cream, but customers and bypassers are always baffled and want to discuss how the ice cream is made. Note that I am in the middle of a mall in an open-aired stand constructed with a front, sink and two large freezers all on wheels.)

Customer: *looks over the product and seems completely flabbergasted* Wow, do you make the ice cream here?!

Me: No, we have several pre-packaged bags of ice cream in these freezers. We don’t have the room to make them-and we certainly wouldn’t want to be working with liquid nitrogen out here!
