Unfiltered Story #117842

My parents ran a general grocery store on a campsite. I worked there with my Mum since age 14/15. A new regulation came in saying that we could not sell anything that came in a glass bottle – for safety reasons. Luckily, there was an alternative for milk. It came in one-pint plastic bags. You made a one-time purchase of a jug, bought the bag of milk, snipped off a corner and poured. Worked fine. Anyway, our chiller usually contained around 200 of these bags of milk. Kids used to come in just to poke or slap them – it set up vibrations that would cause all the other bags to move. I always let them get on with it. Kids are so inventive.
