(I work at a retail store which also acts as a hand-out point for eBay parcels. A somewhat disgruntled customer walks in carrying a wheelbarrow.)

Customer: “I would like to return this wheelbarrow I bought from here. It’s bad quality and you can’t get the wheel on and you can see there that the fittings don’t line up properly. See for yourself the wheel doesn’t fit. I’m telling you it’s just not right.”

Me: “Okay let me see…” *fits the wheel on*

Customer: *blusters* “Well, I don’t want it forced on like that and besides it’s still poor quality and I want a refund.”

Me: “Okay, do you have your receipt on you?”

Customer: “Well I have the delivery note right here thank you very much!”

Me: “Okay, it looks like you purchased this from eBay and you will have to contact the original seller.”

Customer: “But I got it from here!”

Me: “No, sir, it says right here that you purchased it from eBay and only collected it from here. Unfortunately we don’t handle eBay returns. I would advise contacting the seller.”

Customer: “Oh… well…” *walks off with wheelbarrow*
