Unfiltered Story #116509

(I work as a cashier at a small pharmacy/ convenience store located in a small beach community that attracts a lot of tourists, especially during summer. Since there are so many tourists, there are two public restrooms located around the town. People often come in and ask if we have a restroom, which we don’t for customers so we give them directions to the nearest public one and usually they understand since it’s pretty simple. This day, a teenage girl probably 17 or 18 comes in.)

Girl: “Do you have a restroom here?”

Me: “No, but there are public ones if you just to out of the store and go left, and then go left again behind the store, it’s right down that street.”

Girl: *looks at me with an annoyed look on her face and says in a snotty tone:” “umm..could you like give me more direction than that?”

Me: “No, not really. Like I said, go left out of the store, left on the street behind us and it’s down that street a little bit. It’s big and white and says public restrooms on it.”

Girl: *glares at me and storms out of the store*

Me: “Have a nice day…”

(I wonder if she ever found the restrooms.)
