ONE OF OUR WHOLESALE CUSTOMERS BOUGHT A LOAF OF BREAD WHICH WHEN HE OPENED IT AT HOME HAD A SMALL AREA OF MOULD ON IT. He rang and complained and my manager sent me straight out with a selection of breads and a £50 gift voucher for the store. The customer opened the door looking quite aggressive and wearing a string vest and jeans, on explaining what we had done for him he said “don’t try and squeeze out of this with clever talk and fancy stuff…I demand my money back (42 pence) which I found in my pocket and handed over, making the customer very happy and went back to the store with the gift card and breads (I never DID get my 42 pence back by the way!).
