(I had just gotten off shift so I’m tired and not thinking clearly when I stop to pick a few things up before heading home. Since I only need a couple items I don’t bother with a cart. That’s when I notice the soda packs have a buy 2 get 1 free sale going on.)

Me: *Struggling to find a way to carry three soda packs and a toilet paper pack up to the front*

Customer: Oh my, are you alright?

Me: I’m fine, I just wish I had grabbed a cart. I didn’t realize the soda was on sale, now I just need to find a way to get this to the front.

Customer: I can help with that.

Me: No, that’s okay.

Customer: I mean it, I’m done and if you’re done I can help you to the front.

Me: Thank you so much. *I place a soda pack into her cart, allowing me to carry the rest. She stopped at a checkstand, unloaded my pack, and then went on her merry way. You were a big help, thank you for your generosity and kindness!*
