A woman approaches my register to place her order.

Customer: Hi, can I get a small coffee to go please?

Me: Certainly.

I proceed to make her coffee in a small cup, and am just adding cream and sugar when she peers over the counter to see what I am doing.

Customer: That’s not a medium.

Me: That’s because you ordered a small.

Customer: Oh, did I? Never mind then.
