Unfiltered Story #107792
(I have a history of medical issues related to food. About a year ago, my wife encouraged me to see a doctor about my coughing fits after eating dairy, and I learned that I have acid reflux. The other day, I embarrassed myself by going to the doctor for what was probably just heartburn.)
Wife: Do we have any antacids?
Me: I don’t think so.
Wife: What do you do for heartburn?
Me: Freak out and go to the doctor because I don’t recognize it.
Wife: But you have acid reflux. Isn’t that the same as heartburn?
(I don’t understand how she came to that conclusion, but I explained acid reflux and went to the store for antacids.)
