Unfiltered Story #106946

(I go to the clinic at my college because of some general health concerns I’ve been having recently. The nurse takes me to the back to take my temperature, height, etc before sending me to the doctor.)

Nurse: Please step on the scale

Me:*does so, at which point the scale shoots up to 220, 20+lbs more than I thought it would be. In my shock, mixed with nerves from being in the clinic, I exclaim* Jesus Christ!

Nurse: *stops and loses it* Oh, it’s off, it’s off! We’re waiting for a replacement!

(and that’s how I made a nurse’s day)
