(My name is something like “Sophie”. I often get “Sophia” because it’s more common and people are lazy. I took over as the contact/distributor for an e-newsletter my company subscribes to. I was copied on the email, so I know my co-worker gave them my correct contact information. The first day I was supposed to receive it, I didn’t get it. I asked my co-worker who had previously been the contact. She emailed them and they told her my email bounced. They emailed me later that day at my company email address: sophie_smith@mycompany.com
Them: Sophia, it looks like there was a typo in your email address.
Me: Let me speculate as to why that might have happened…
