(It is a very hot day and people are just being plain stupid from the heat. One of my coworkers is at the window and after an order goes out he comes over to tell us what just conspired at the window.)
Coworker: “The box is $5.35.”
Customer: “I would like to up-size that drink to an extra large.”
Coworker: “That will be 70 cents extra.”
(The customer continues to stare at my co-worker with a straight face:)
Customer: “Is it because I am black?” *the costumer was black*
