As I am checking in a guest the phone rings, its another guest calling from a room. I explain to the guest on the phone that I am checking in someone and ask if they could hold for just a moment.

Guest on the phone: No I just have a quick question!

Me: Ok

Guest on the phone: What season of the year are we in?

Me: It’s Febuary, its winter season… like everywhere else in the world

Guest on the phone: Ok thank you! (Hangs up)

Guest in front of me: WHAT DID THEY JUST ASK YOU?!
