Me: *on phone* “Hi, you’ve called [clinic name], [me] speaking.”

Caller: “Hi, I used to bring my cat there a few years ago.  I was wondering if I could–”

Me: “Sorry, did you say your cat?”

Caller: “Yeah.”

Me: “This is a GP.”

Caller: “Oh.  Okay. So can I bring him in?”
