Waking Up To The Fact
(My wife is notorious for talking in her sleep with no memory of what she said the next morning. One morning, I’m lying in bed watching her sleep.)
Me: “Babe, you’re so beautiful when you’re sleeping. I love watching you sleep.“
Wife: *sits straight up, eyes still closed* “Then why the h*** are you waking me up?!”
(She promptly lied down and went right back to sleep.)
