(I’m chatting with my significant other who lives on the other side of the country. We’re discussing Valentine’s Day plans.)

Significant Other: “I’ll ride up to you on a white steed and we will ride off into the sunset.”

Me: “What if I’m inside a building?”

Significant Other: “I’ll have the receptionist page you.”

Me: “I’m glad you’ve thought so far ahead.”

Significant Other: “Impromptu.”

Me: “Quick thinking, then.”

Significant Other: “I’ve come to sweep you off your feet. I need to be quick thinking.”
