Giving The Better Half To My Better Half

(Our toaster oven doesn’t heat things equally. One night we tried a new pan pizza. It over cooks on one side (think, burned) and I decide to give my boyfriend the good half. He notices after he is on his last slice.)

Boyfriend: “Don’t do that!”

Me: “Do what?”

Boyfriend: “Give me the better food. Next time mix it up!”

Me: “No. I don’t mind.”

Boyfriend: “Are we going to fight about this? I can’t do nice things like that for you.”

Me: “Yeah, you can. If you don’t like it then you make dinner.”

Boyfriend: “Let’s not get ahead of ourselves here…”
