Early Start On Declaring His Intentions

(I am going outside to check my mail. A mother and her very young son are walking by.)

Little Boy: “Lady, hey lady!”

Boy’s Mom: “I’m sorry about him.”

Me: “No, it’s okay; what’s up little man?”

Little Boy: “I know you; you got that pretty girl!”

(I laugh, as he is referring to my daughter.)

Me: “That I do!”

Little Boy: “I’m gonna marry her!”

(The boy’s mother and I die laughing!)
