In maths class writing the title for today’s lesson and finishing the underline.

Teacher: PENS DOWN!

*me finishing the underline and putting my pen down*

Teacher: [My name], out!

Me: Me? What for?

Teacher: *pointing to the door* OUT!

30 minutes later and there are several of us outside now. We’ve been waiting for so long one of the other students has put their music on.

Teacher: *coming out of the classroom* Music off, please. I am going to let you back in my classroom, provided you agree do exactly what I say. No ifs, not buts, or you’re out!

For the next month the entire class refused to do anything without her expressed opinion. She wasn’t there for long after. I hope we didn’t force her out.
