Enthusiastic About Your Craft

(I am a teacher in middle school with a class of sixth-grade autistic boys in a special day program.)

Me: “Does anyone have any guesses as to what craftsmanship means?” *one student waves his arm excitedly* “What do you think, [Student]?”

Student: *with great enthusiasm* “I have NO idea, but I’m excited for you to tell us!”

(I have to pause and hold in my giggles at his clueless enthusiasm and give him a high five.)
