Me: “So, my mom doesn’t hate you as much as she used to.”

Boyfriend: “Hooray for improvement! I seriously thought she was going to hate me forever.”

Me: “She’ll get used to you being my boyfriend, but she’s still going to hate you forever.”

Boyfriend: “But why?”

Me: “You beat her at Star Wars Trivia.”

Boyfriend: “I can live with being hated for eternity because I know more about Star Wars than your mom.”
