Talking Out Of Uranus

| Learning | November 9, 2015

(We are looking at astronomy and how long it takes for light to get from one point to another.)

Me: “What did you get for Earth to Neptune?”

Student: “1.45.”

(This seems odd, as I got 60 hours, 1 minute, and 40 seconds.)

Me: “1.45 what?”

Student: *shrugs* “I don’t know. Time.”
