A Very Black And White Approach To Coloring

(My friends and I are in a study space together. Friend #1 is colouring in an adult colouring book.)

Friend #1: “What time is it?”

Friend #2: “Hammer time.”

Me: *laughing, checking my watch* “It’s five after two.”

Friend #1: “F***! I had class at two.”

(Friend #1 immediately resumes colouring. All of us laugh.)

Friend #2: “It’s only five minutes in. You do realise people show up, like, fifteen minutes in.”

Friend #1: *still colouring* “What am I gonna learn? I’m just gonna wish I was colouring.”
