Less Is More, More Or Less, Part 2

(I am calling a pizza store for delivery with a coupon for buy one large pizza, get a medium free. Note, the coupon is clearly not expired, and I have used a similar one in the past at this restaurant.)

Employee: “Hello, how may I help you?”

Me: “Hi, I’d like to order one large pepperoni pizza and one medium cheese pizza…” *gives my info and coupon info*

Employee: “I’m sorry, I don’t recognize that coupon. I can’t just give you a free medium pizza.”

Me: “…”

Employee: “If you’re interested, right now we have a deal going on: buy one large pizza, get one large pizza free!”

Me: “…”
