The Shopping Game

(I am at home with my girlfriend. We need to leave soon, but she walks away to the bathroom to do her hair. Since it is the end of the year, I take the time to check Christmas and New Year discounts at an online game store. She returns and sees me browsing the catalogue, and the following happens:)

Girlfriend: “I’m ready to go. Hey, what are you doing?”

Me: “Nothing important. I just want to buy some games.”

Girlfriend: “Games? Do you really want to waste your money on that crap?”

Me: “Yes. They have nice discounts at this time, up to 80%.”

Girlfriend: “80%? What are you waiting for? BUY THEM NOW!”

(I guess her dislike for games has been overwhelmed by her love for shopping and discounts.)
