Chipping Away At Your Technique

(We’re in drama class on our first day of high school. The teacher is getting us to pretend to be various animals/objects.)

Teacher: “And now you’re a chip packet rolling in the wind!”

(Confused, we get on the floor and start half-heartedly rolling around.)

Teacher: “No, no, this isn’t good enough! You’re not just rolling around; you’re blowing in the wind!”

(Even more confused, we try to become chip packets in the wind. The bell rings, signaling the end of the class.)

Teacher:  *dead serious* “All right, students. Go home and practice your chip packet skills. You can’t progress in this class until you’ve mastered it.”
