(Our history teacher allows us to take a little break before moving on with the lesson. One student is checking his homework for another class.)
Student: “Oh, f***! I didn’t do my calculus homework!”
Teacher: *looks up from his desk* “What did you just say?”
Student: *thinking fast* “Friendship. I said friendship.”
Teacher: *eying him* “Really?”
Student: “Yep.”
Teacher: *nodding* “Uh huh. The friendship you did!”
(Our break was extended five more minutes because everyone was laughing until they couldn’t breathe.)
