Both Genders Still Have Teeth

(This story occurs while I am assisting store staff in running a trading card game tournament. I am transgender (female to male) and have been publicly out for two years at this point.)

Staff Member: “All right, I’ll just have [My Name] help you out with learning how to play. Don’t worry, he doesn’t bite!”

Child: “Oh, she might bite.”

Me: *in semi-severe tone* “HE!” *jokingly* “That might be a reason why I would bite, though.”
