Micro-Effort

| Romantic | May 15, 2014

(I am just over five feet tall and my husband is over six feet tall. When cleaning the kitchen I usually carry the microwave to the nearest counter across the room, so I can clean up any spills and crumbs under it. I’ve never had any trouble until one day, when husband is home, I start to move the microwave.)

Husband: “What are you doing?”

Me: “Moving the microwave so I can clean a spill.”

Husband: “Let me do it for you. It’s too heavy for you to move on your own.”

(He proceeds to pull it out, dropping it on the edge of the wooden cabinet, taking a chunk out of the edge.)

Husband: “Can you help me? It’s too heavy.”

Me: “Next time I’ll do it when you aren’t home.”
