New Year Gets Off To A Shakey Start
(I go over a mate’s house for New Year. Attending is my mate and his girlfriend, my mate’s sister and her boyfriend, and a friend of my mate who I have met a couple of times before. Come midnight we all cheer. Then one of the couples starts to kiss, as does the other. The last guy and I look at each other.)
Me: “…let’s not.”
Guy: “Put it there!”
(He sticks his hand out and we shake enthusiastically.)
