(I am attempting to break up with a guy I’ve been dating for about 4 weeks. He’s gotten rather hysterical, and I have been unsuccessful in my attempts to get him to leave my room.)
Ex: *through tears* “Try! Just…try!”
Me: “What? No, I don’t want to be with you.”
Ex: “But, can’t we just…be together without being together?”
Me: “…Did you hear what you just said?”
Ex: “Yeah, you’re right. I’ll just go.”
