All Bear Witness

(My family likes to have movie nights, and we all like to add our two cents throughout. 10 minutes into this particular action movie and we already know it’s terrible. At this point in the movie a helicopter full of kids is blown up.)

Me: “FLAMING TEDDY BEAR!”

Mom: “What?”

Me: “There is totally gonna be a flaming teddy bear for poignancy points in the next five minutes.”

Sister: “Oh, my God.”

Dad: “She’s totally right.”

(Lo and behold, three minutes later…)

All: “YES! FLAMING TEDDY BEAR!” *cheering*
