A Very Awkward Discussion

(It’s health class and we’re mid-way through our sex ed unit. Our teacher is teaching us about contraceptives and safe sex, including debunking myths about what counts as safe.)
Teacher: “When using condoms, put it on at the start of sex, not when you’re just about to ejaculate. Anybody know why?”
Classmate: “Because it would be awkward?”
(The entire class loses it, including the teacher.)
Teacher: “Yes, that’s true. ‘Excuse me, dear, I just need to get the condom on…'”
