You Must Fulfil Your Sentence
High School | Learning
| September 11, 2015
(I’m in English class and everyone seems tired. We had been modeling sentences as a warm-up. Basically we would replicate a certain sentence structure.)
Teacher: “Okay, who wants to write their sentence on the board?”
(Silence.)
Teacher: “Anyone?”
(Silence.)
Teacher: “Okay, I’ll do it.”
(She walks up to the board and starts writing a sentence.)
Teacher: *while writing* “The somber class sat still, serious, and disturbed the desperate teacher.”
(She turns around.)
Teacher: “Was that so hard?”
