(Our maths teacher has shown an equation on the board. By coincidence, the answer—or a stage of it—comes out as “A55.”)
Student #1: “Wow, this equation’s a real pain in the a**.”
Student #2: “Yeah, I wouldn’t want to make an a** of myself.”
Student #3: “A**-k us another one, sir!”
(There is general sniggering about it, and then…)
Teacher: “Alright now everyone. Settle down. I’ve had enough of your ‘a**’ cracks.”
(It takes a couple of seconds before everyone, including the teacher, realises what he’s said and erupts into uncontrollable hysterics. That lesson ended 20 minutes early.)
