(It is summer and has been extremely hot and sunny. A friend messages me with photos of herself sunburnt.)
Me: “Looks painful. You should apply aftersun.”
Her: “I know. Why do I always get burnt, though?”
Me: “What factor sunscreen do you use?”
Her: “I don’t use any.”
Me: “Well, there’s your problem!
(I want to say that this doesn’t happen often, but currently my Facebook newsfeed is filled with images of sunburnt people who apparently have not heard of sunscreen.)
