So Cold They’re Practically Frozen

(I don’t have class until the afternoon, so I like to sleep in. My friend has earlier classes and knocks on my door when she gets back.)

Friend: “Your room is so cold!”

Me: “I know; I fell asleep with the window open last night.”

Friend: “I’ll close it for you.”

(She walks over to the window and closes it. However, she also yanks the shade up and lets in the sun, which shines right in my face.)

Me: “AUGH!”

Friend: *laying on top of me* “The sky’s awake, so I’m awake, so you have to be awake now, too!”
