(I have long blonde hair, that women and girls compliment me on, calling it pretty or beautiful. It kind of embarrasses me, but I always thank them for the compliment. As my mom and I walk down to the grocery store this happens:)
Guy: “Your hair is beautiful.”
Me: “Thanks.”
(As we get in the store with me feeling a little embarrassed:)
Me; “That was the first time a guy called my hair beautiful.”
